My name is Robert Benardo and I am a fish rubber. That's me
in the photo searching, fly rod in hand and an endless sense
of wonder in my soul. I am drawn to natural beauty, to
surroundings that have been shaped by wind and water. Fish
live in these places. The years I have spent in pursuit of the
endless variety of fish that can be caught on a fly have shown
me beauty that can not only be seen but can be felt. It was
with these sensibilities that I made my first Gyotaku print.

My prints are raw and simple. I am trying to create a fossil
like image of a fish using ink on paper. All my prints are
originals; none are copies or reproductions.

I hope you like what I have done so far. Every one of these
prints started and ended with me doing something I love to
